Residents in Dubai are concerned about the ready availability of pornographic videos and DVDs in the city, reported Gulf News. A number of road-side vendors in Bur Dubai and Deira are selling the illegal films for around Dhs10. It is thought one or two movies are smuggled into the country and then thousands of copies are made; Dubai Municipality has confiscated more than 1,200 pornographic films in the last six months.
